Worship Services - 10am Sundays

Our 10am worship service is a family friendly traditional service for all ages. Wherever you are on your own spiritual journey, you are welcome at Scots Church. Our services include Bible readings, prayers, quiet meditation, a gospel message, and they are enhanced by the singing of hymns which are accompanied on one of Hobart’s magnificent pipe organs, or the beautiful grand piano.

The church has on-site Sunday parking and wheelchair access.

Following our worship service, you are invited to join us for a morning cuppa and fellowship.

Communion Sunday

The first Sunday of the month is usually Communion Sunday.

Holy Communion is a special ritual or sacrament, whereby a meal of bread and wine / juice is shared among believers. We practice what is called an “open table”. This means that all are invited to participate, and it is up to each individual how they respond.

If you prefer to watch this part of the service, that is fine.

Offering

During the worship service, the congregation is invited to present offerings of their gifts, their presence, and their services, for prayers of dedication to the work of the extension of God’s kingdom.

We believe that together with our gifts of money, we also offer the treasure of our thoughts and feelings, abilities and skills, and all the best of our hopes and holiest dreams.
